Vernon Giang, MD is the Medical Director and President for Pacific Inpatient Medical Group (PIMG). He helped lead the transition of Inpatient Medical Group(IMMG) to PIMG in 2007. Prior to that, he was one of the pioneer physicians of the IMMG which formed in 1997. He was named Associate Medical Director of the group in June 2007. Additionally, he held the California Campus Medical Director position for 11 years. Dr. Giang has been a hospitalist since 1996.

In addition to his hospitalist responsibilities with PIMG, Dr. Giang holds an officer position for the CPMC medical staff’s executive committee. He was also the Vice/Associate Chair of Medicine at California Pacific Medical Center (CPMC) for over 10 years.

Dr. Giang received a B.S. in Chemistry from Pacific Union College and a medical degree at University of California, Davis. He completed an Internal Medicine Residency at California Pacific Medical Center.

Aaron Rang, MD is the new Associate Medical Director and Vice President for Pacific Inpatient Medical Group (PIMG). He has been a hospitalist since 2000 and joined Inpatient Management Medical Group (IMMG) in 2001. Dr. Rang became the Pacific Campus Medical Director in 2007.

In addition to his hospitalist responsibilities with PIMG, Dr. Rang was recently named the Associate Chair of Medicine for California Pacific Medical Center (CPMC).

He completed his residency training at California Pacific Medical Center after receiving his medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School in 1997.
