William Cahill, M.D. attended Wesleyan University graduating with a B.A. in Physics. He attended the University of California, San Francisco, and School of Medicine graduating with his M.D. in 2003. He completed residency training in Internal Medicine at the University of California, SF, in 2006. He joined PIMG in August of 2008 and is employed at the Davies Campus. Dr. Cahill is Board Certified in Internal Medicine.

Ovidiu Dumitrescu, M.D. graduated in 1983 from Carol Davila University of Medicine in Bucharest, Romania. In 1988 he became involved in HIV research and in 1991 started a virology fellowship at UCSF. He continued to work in HIV and Cell biology research until 1996 when he begun the residency program at CPMC. After graduation in 1999, he started the Hospitalist program at the Davies campus of CPMC and joined IMMG in 2001. Dr. Dumistrescu remained with the group when it became PIMG. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and is a member of AMA, ACP and SHM.

Ryan Honda, M.D. joined PIMG in July 2008. He graduated from New York University School of Medicine in 1994. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency at California Pacific Medical Center in 1997. Prior to joining PIMG, he has worked as a primary care physician and as a hospitalist in San Francisco. He is board certified in Internal Medicine.

Kip King, M.D. joined IMMG in June 2002 and remained with the group when it became PIMG. He received his medical degree from the University of Illinois' College of Medicine in 1994, and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin in 1997. He is board certified in Internal Medicine.

Andy Knapp, M.D. has practiced Hospitalist Medicine for over six years. His most recent experience was at St. Francis Memorial. Currently, he consults as a Physician Advisor with Executive Health Resources, providing Medicare Compliance support for observation /inpatient determinations. He graduated from Dartmouth College with a B.A in Anthropology in 1979. He then attended the University of California, San Diego where he received his Doctor of Medicine in 1984. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Duke University 1987. Dr. Knapp is Board Certified in Internal Medicine.

William Miller, M.D., FACP. graduated from the University of Arizona with a B.S. in chemistry. He later attended Hahnemann University graduating with a M.S. in Physiology and Biophysics. He received his medical degree from the University of Arizona in 1991. He completed his residency training in Internal Medicine at the University of Arizona in 1994. He also finished a Fellowship in Oncology and Hematology in 1997. Dr. Miller is Board Certified in Internal Medicine. He recently joined the Davies Campus as a hospitalist in 2010. Dr. Miller has been practicing inpatient medicine for over eight years.

Raveena Rihal, M.D. graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2002 with a B.S. in Public Health. She received her Doctor of Medicine from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2007. She was an intern and resident at New York University Medical Center from 2007-2009. She then completed her PGY-3 residency at Stanford University in 2011. She is Board Eligible in Internal Medicine.

Arieh Rosenbaum, M.D. joined IMMG in February 2001 and remained with the group when it became PIMG. Dr. Rosenbaum is a 1997 graduate of the Georgetown University School of Medicine, and he completed his residency in Internal Medicine at California Pacific Medical Center in 2000. He is board certified in Internal Medicine. Dr. Rosenbaum is also currently active in the development and implementation of the electronic health record for CPMC.

Patrick Tekeli, M.D. joined IMMG in May 2006 and remained with the group when it became PIMG. He received his medical degree at Vanderbilt University in 1984. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at California Pacific Medical Center in 1987. Dr. Tekeli was one of the first dedicated hospitalists in the Bay Area when he started working at a skilled nursing facility in September 1987. Additionally, he has maintained a part time office based practice since September 1996. He is board certified in Internal Medicine.

Elaine Toy, M.D. graduated from University of California, Berkeley with a B.A in Molecular and Cell Biology in 1998. She then attended Ohio State University School of Medicine where she graduated from Medical School in 2003. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine in 2006 at the University of California, Davies. Since her graduation from residency, Dt. Toys has worked as a Hospitalist at Kaiser Permanente, UCSF and North Bay Hospital. Dr. Toy is Board Certified in Internal Medicine. We are especially happy to have someone with Elaine’s flexibility joining our Team. Dr. Toy is filling in as a Floater FTE providing back fill coverage at all Four CPMC Campuses. She is currently working at the Davies Campus providing maternity coverage.

Lois Van der Hagen, M.D. graduated from South Dakota State University wit a B.S. in Biology in 1981. She attended the University of Minnesota Medical School, graduating in 1985. She completed her internal medicine residency at the University of Minnesota in 1998. During 1989-990, she completed a Hematology Fellowship the University of California, San Francisco. She joined IMMG in 2001 and remained with the group when it became PIMG. . Dr. Van der Hagen is Board Certified in Internal Medicine.

Stefani Wedl, M.D. Prior to joining PIMG, Dr. Wedl spent several years as a Hospitalist at Eden Medical Center. She graduated from Mount Sinai School of Medicine in 2003 and completed residency in Internal Medicine at UCSF in 2006. She joined PIMG at California Pacific Medical Center in January 2009. Dr. Wedl is Board Certified in Internal Medicine.

Cleon Yee, M.D. joined IMMG in May 2004 and remained with the group when it became PIMG. He received a B.S. in Human Biology at the University of Utah before graduating from the Medical College of Wisconsin in 1999. Dr. Yee completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco in 2002. Additionally, he served as Chief Resident at California Pacific Medical Center in 2003. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine.
